Northern most of Te Wai Pounamu’s ice plateaus, the Gardens or Eden and Allah preside proudly at the headwaters Rakaia and Rangitata on the east and Whananui and Whataroa on the west. Team member Rose enjoyed a north to south crossing with companions Andy Howell and James Waetford. This photo story showcases the wild views and rugged landscapes of the area.
